What You’ll Do As a Physical Therapist, you’ll play a critical role in outpatient orthopaedic therapy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and sports medicine care. You’ll evaluate, treat, and guide patients through recovery from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions helping them restore function and quality of life. Key responsibilities include: Conducting thorough patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized plans of care Providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and other evidence-based treatments Educating patients and families on diagnosis, rehab process, and home exercise programs Collaborating with physicians, PTAs, athletic trainers, and the broader care team Documenting all evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries Monitoring and ensuring patient safety during all treatments Supervising and delegating responsibilities to PTAs and therapy support staff Acting as a clinical instructor for PT students as requested Participating in community education, research, and continuous learning opportunities Maintaining compliance with state, federal, and APTA guidelines and FOI policies About You We’re looking for a patient-focused, motivated, and collaborative Physical Therapist who thrives in a dynamic outpatient orthopaedic setting and wants to make a lasting impact in patients’ lives. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred) Active Florida PT license Current CPR certification Commitment to continuing education and professional growth Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, innovative, and passionate about improving patient outcomes Preferred Experience (a plus, not required): Outpatient orthopaedics or sports medicine therapy experience Familiarity with WebPT or other EMR systems Experience as a clinical instructor or mentor Ready to take the next step in your Physical Therapy career?
