Coverage Needed :

• ASAP - ongoing
• Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
• Two weeks on, two weeks off

Clinical Details :

• Specialty Physiatry, Internal Medicine (with rehab experience)
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Patients Per Shift: 3-6, up to 10
• Beds in Department: 10
• Admissions required
• Rounding Patients: Assigned (5-8), takes about 5-10 minutes per patient
• Trauma level 2
• Call Type: Beeper for Assigned Patients with 10-30min call response time required
  • Avg Call # Per 24 Hr: Call Ratio 1, Call Back: 0-1, Patients Seen: up to 10, Admissions: 2 a day
  • Phone consults most of the time
• EMR: Meditech
• Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 MA, 2 nurses, and 1 CNA

Requirements :

• Board Certified
• BLS
• Fellowship - Preferred
• Previous rehabilitation unit experience - Preferred
