Shift: Full-Time – Mon, Wed, & Thurs 6PM – 6:30AM

What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED
Previous phlebotomy experience is a plus (but not required!)
Phlebotomy certification (or ability to earn it within 6 months)
A calm presence, good communication, and a love for helping people

Responsibilities
A Day in the life:
Greet patients and collect blood samples with care and confidence
Label and handle specimens to ensure top-notch accuracy
Keep workspaces clean and organized
Deliver a positive experience—even when patients are nervous
Follow safety and infection control procedures like a pro
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience:
One year of relevant phlebotomy or venous access experience, preferred.
Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Phlebotomy (certification eligible) - ASCP, ASPT, AMT, NHA or other national accrediting agency approved by Laboratory Senior Leadership.
Additional Skills Required: In NHMG setting, performs waived and moderate testing that meets TJC, CLIA and COLA regulations. Knowledge of current medical terminology to perform full range of laboratory tasks. Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate with medical staff regarding laboratory procedures. Skill in anticipating and reacting calmly to emergency situations. Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, hospital staff and the public. Ability to follow written protocols. Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate clearly.
