Job Purpose and Summary: As a Pharmacy Technician Associate at CVS Health, you will be integral to enhancing the patient experience in our retail locations. Your role supports our pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service to our patients. Your key responsibilities will include: Assisting in the safe and accurate fulfillment of prescriptions. Being the first point of contact for patients and providing an empathetic service experience. Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain pharmacy workflow and operations. Contributing to a positive team environment by being open to feedback and eager to learn. Supporting inventory management and completing pharmacy operational tasks as directed. Promoting patient health through additional services like immunizations where permissible. In this role, you will partake in comprehensive training, fulfilling all state and national certification requirements. Responsibilities also include: Engaging with patients, offering personalized service, and addressing their needs effectively. Complying with all laws and regulations to ensure a safe pharmacy environment. Educating patients about pharmacy services and products. Required Qualifications: Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements regarding age and education. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess or be eligible for pharmacy technician certification. Essential Functions: Ability to maintain regular attendance, including night and weekend shifts. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Aptitude for solving problems and handling multiple tasks. Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
