Pharmacy Practice Specialist - Pharmacist In Charge, Urbandale

The Pharmacist-in-Charge at Urbandale Pharmacy will oversee daily operations for both a co-located closed-door retail pharmacy and a hospital/clinic pharmacy. They will provide medication distribution, sterile compounding, and support clinical and operational services for the multispecialty clinics and future infusion area. They will also provide retail and specialty services related to in-vitro fertilization and reproductive endocrinology medications. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, manages pharmacy staff, and delivers comprehensive pharmaceutical care. It serves as a role-model/practitioner-educator for pharmacy residents, Doctor of Pharmacy students and carries out clinical practice responsibilities for the Department of Pharmaceutical Care.
