Medium size town with over 200,000 people, airport that is easy to travel to and from. 1 hour to Ithaca, Syracuse, and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Only 3 hours to New York City and people go constantly to the City as it's a short and easy drive.
Can do J1-V and H1-B. Appalachian Regional Commission so can qualify for visas without having to go through the Conrad 30 process.
Employed position but for someone looking for leadership and or partnership, there could be an opportunity to become a partner in the practice.
