Job Description: This is a 5 days onsite role for a Benefits & Payroll Coordinator supporting the payroll and benefits function for a multi-state employee population. This is an immediate contract opportunity with the potential to extend or convert based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end processing of multi-state payroll for a workforce of 1,500+ employees Enter and update payroll and benefits data accurately in internal systems Monitor and manage employee records relating to compensation, benefits, and tax information Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on payroll and benefits-related matters Collaborate on audits and process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency Assist with documentation and communication related to payroll cycles, bonuses, and merit increases Stay informed of federal and state regulations related to payroll and benefits Coordinate closely with internal payroll vendors and systems for seamless processing Qualifications: 23 years of payroll and benefits administration experience Expertise with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is required Experience processing payroll in multiple states Proficiency with systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Concur, and Vena is a plus High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Onsite, 5 days/week) Contract length: 3 months to start, with possibility for extension or permanent hire Business casual dress code Opportunity to join a growing team in a high-impact role Gain hands-on experience with advanced HR and payroll platforms Office located in the heart of downtown Chicago Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
