As a Produce Team Member, you will play a vital role in supporting our Produce team by receiving and preparing high-quality products, maintaining an attractive Produce floor and displays, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Create appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked, front-facing, checking codes, and removing expired products. Assist in organizing and showcasing seasonal items alongside the Team Leader. Monitor product freshness and prevent spoilage while communicating waste concerns to buyers and supervisors. Complete required paperwork for spoilage, sampling, temperature checks, and cleaning duties. Help with regular inventory checks. Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to contribute, while attending all required trainings and meetings. Deliver excellent customer service, addressing customer needs promptly and using suggestive selling techniques. Maximize sales through effective stocking, merchandising, and product preparation. Ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards and established procedures. Maintain a clean and sanitary work and shopping environment. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy in signs and pricing. Report any safety hazards or violations immediately. Complete additional tasks as directed by leadership. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to use tools and equipment safely, including knives and pallet jacks.
