Law Enforcement

This position is for a law enforcement role, public safety, corrections or investigations. Positions in this series are typically full-time, 29 hours per week, and are scheduled for a 12-hour shift. Positions are subject to a reference check and criminal background check, where applicable.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitors and provides immediate response to crisis situations.
• On-site intervention for full-time offenders assigned to the institution.
• Enforces all rules, regulations, and policies of the institution and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.
• Ensures the safety and security of the facility and its residents through control and management of the facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) approved training program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in law enforcement, public safety, corrections, or investigations.
