Position Type: Part-Time/Extra Help Job Title: Part-Time Classroom Aide Classification Title: Part-Time/Extra Help Campus Location: ASU Searcy Job Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION ASU-Beebe is seeking a part-time classroom aide for the High School Welding program on the Searcy Campus for the Fall 2025 semester. Duties include monitoring classroom and shop activities when high school students are present to ensure safety practices are being followed. Assist the instructor when needed with tasks such as attendance, making copies of handouts or test papers for students. Monitoring students during breaks to ensure they don’t leave the classroom or lab area. Please make sure students are in the bus pickup area after class, so they are not left on campus. Must wear safety glasses at all times while in the shop areas of the class. Required Qualifications: GED or High School Diploma Minimum Salary or Salary Range: $15.00 per hour Background Check Statement: This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded.
