Overview: The Armed Security Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive security services, including installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, and overall protection of the facility and its occupants. This role is based in a United States Army installation, where employees have access to a gym, workout facilities, a PX, and dining options like Burger King. If applicable, provide DD214 as verification of military experience within the last 10 years. Must be eligible for a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (sponsored by CGS-Kosovo). Two (2) years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military operations required. Completion of a recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or equivalent military training is required. Must possess a current/active U.S. Passport. Familiarity with security operations and basic force protection protocols is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Must be medically fit and complete required medical testing. Full COVID-19 vaccination with documentation is mandatory. Must successfully pass a Physical Ability Test (1.5-mile run in 17:30 minutes and 21 pushups in two minutes). Willingness to undergo random drug testing as required. Regular working hours are 48 hours per week, with varying schedules based on operational needs.
