Otolaryngologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Northern Colorado

New Yesterday

A facility is seeking an otolaryngologist for locum tenens coverage. While on assignment in Northern Colorado, explore the beautiful outdoors and visit the Horsetooth Reservoir, Lory State Park, or visit historic districts for shops and restaurants! The practice uses EPIC and has 3 exam rooms in the clinic. The caseload focuses on bread-and-butter ENT cases, with about 95% adult and 5% pediatric patients. The work setting is roughly 75% office/clinic and 25% hospital-based, with an equal split between surgical and non-surgical cases. Physicians typically see around 18 scheduled office patients per day, with 2-3 add-ons, and perform about 7 surgeries per week. Hospital patient volume is low, averaging 0-3 patients per day, with 0-1 admissions, no ICU patients, and 3-4 surgeries weekly. Required procedures include general otolaryngology (both surgical and non-surgical), endoscopic procedures such as septal and sinus surgery, flexible bronchoscopy, laryngoscopy, and tracheotomy. Preferred procedures include facial reconstruction. Providers should be comfortable managing all general ENT postoperative care and questions related to sinus, ear, endocrine, and head and neck conditions.
