General Summary:
A growing, hospital-employed oncology program is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a busy, well-established practice. This physician will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with malignant diseases and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatment.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver oncology care based on established, evidence-based guidelines and ensure timely documentation of all patient-related activities.
- Meet with newly diagnosed cancer patients to explain treatment processes, review diagnostic and lab results, and outline goals and expected outcomes.
- Develop and oversee individualized radiation treatment plans in coordination with Nurse Practitioners, Radiation Therapists, Physicists, and other care team members.
- Actively collaborate with surgical, hematology-oncology, radiology, and pathology teams to determine and communicate comprehensive care plans.
- Gather and analyze relevant patient health data, ensuring accurate documentation, coding, and charge capture per organizational policies.
- Participate in ongoing clinical research initiatives and assist in identifying eligible patients for enrollment or referral to tertiary research centers.
- Contribute to department performance improvement by working with oncology leadership to evaluate and refine workflows. Support strategic goals and initiatives that enhance oncology services in the community.
- Perform other related duties as needed within the scope of this role.
