The Occupational Therapy Team Lead provides leadership and supervision within the therapy team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations. This role involves overseeing staffing, scheduling, and training while maintaining open communication with hospital departments to meet patient and staff needs. The Team Lead also contributes to patient care in the licensed discipline for a significant portion of their work hours. Key responsibilities include creating an environment that aligns with the hospital's mission, motivating staff to improve performance, and ensuring the department operates efficiently. The Team Lead also aids in staff development and mentoring, contributing to continuous improvement within the department.
