Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess and treat residents and patients of varying ages and needs, helping them maintain, recover, or develop the skills required to perform everyday activities. We are seeking communicative and compassionate individuals who enjoy positively impacting lives. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for residents and patients. Evaluate individual abilities and develop achievable therapy goals. Document patient evaluations and create therapeutic plans. Educate patients and families to enhance understanding and improve outcomes. Integrate current research into treatment practices. Provide training and education to peers in your areas of expertise. Qualifications: Must hold the appropriate education level required for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Licensure in the state of practice is necessary, and certification from the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on specific roles. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within the first 60 days of employment. Newly graduated applicants awaiting board testing may be considered if they possess a temporary license.
