Requirements: *Self-starter, ready to begin immediately!!! *Texas-licensed Occupational Therapist * Home health experience preferred * Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay requirements (e.g., homebound rule). * Must pass Texas DPS background check before onboarding, with annual rechecks, per Texas HHS standards. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate speech therapy, physical therapy, and other modalities to improve patients' functional abilities and independence. Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that address patients' unique needs and goals. Provide patient education and support to help patients and families navigate the healthcare system and manage their condition. Assist with case management by communicating with healthcare providers, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure patients receive comprehensive care. Demonstrate a commitment to critical care and patient safety by adhering to hospital or clinic protocols and standards. Maintain a professional demeanor and contribute to a positive work environment by being respectful, empathetic, and supportive of colleagues and patients.

Qualifications: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the position is located. Experience working in a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Experience with case management and patient service. Experience working with patients with a range of diagnoses, including those requiring critical care. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
