Access Health Louisiana is seeking an experienced and professional Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing float team.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, addressing a wide range of health concerns at several clinics in the New Orleans Metro area.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care and health outcomes.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree with a concentration in the respective advanced practice nursing specialty from an accredited college or university
Current and unrestricted license to practice in Louisiana.
Certification by a nationally recognized certifying body. Current CPR certification.
Must be willing to travel to locations within a designated area.

Position Summary:
Nurse Practitioner provides patient care services by independently and interdependently scheduling, supervising, and/or conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; independently participates in the delivery of direct patient care within the scope of authority granted by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and following the AHL protocols and standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
1. Current Louisiana RN license.
2. Must possess a Master’s degree with a concentration in the respective advanced practice nursing specialty from an accredited college or university.
3. Must possess a certification by a nationally recognized certifying body.
4. Current CPR certification required.
Experience
1. At least one year of experience in advanced practice nursing.
2. Knowledge of scope of practice.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. High level of ethics in maintaining patient confidentiality.
2. Excellent analytical skills to assess and evaluate patient needs and develop and implement a care plan.
3. Handles a multitude of tasks simultaneously.
4. Communicates with patients, physicians, and other staff in verbal and written form.
5. Provides safe and effective nursing care.
6. Calm, professional attitude in stressful situations and interactions.
7. Maintains professional composure under stress as in emergency situations.
