As a substitute paraprofessional, you will assist classroom teachers in providing vital support to students with special needs, fostering their academic and personal growth. Responsibilities include: Providing instructional reinforcement for individual or small groups of students Assisting teachers with classroom management and general student supervision Helping with administrative duties, including setting up equipment and preparing materials Supervising students in various settings, such as the cafeteria, schoolyard, and during field trips Attending to students’ physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs Supporting students with special needs by following their IEPs/504 Plans Carrying out additional tasks as directed by classroom teachers and school administration Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) Compensation: $13-$22/hr
