ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do as a Music Therapist:
  • Conduct initial music therapy assessments and establish the plans of care for clients upon referral to Music Therapy services, including treatment goals, treatment modalities, and frequency of service delivery.
  • Provide appropriate Music Therapy services for patients and clients in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Practice within the ethical guidelines of the American Music Therapy Association.
  • Conduct consultation and education programs as requested to improve community understanding of Interim Hospice Music Therapy services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy with successful completion of clinical internship, Masters preferred
  • Certified with the Certification Board for Music Therapists
  • Two years’ experience in providing Music Therapy services full-time, preferred
  • Previous hospice is experience a plus, though not a requirement
