Location: Cabrillo Montessori, Santa Clara Hours: School Day (8:00 AM to 3:30 PM) or Full Day (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Montessori Preschool Lead Teacher to guide a classroom of 18 children ages 2 to 3 years, working alongside a supportive team of two assistants. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to make a lasting impact during these formative years and help create a nurturing, respectful environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired.

Key Responsibilities Lead a classroom of 18 children with the support of two assistants, fostering collaboration and consistency Create and maintain a calm and engaging classroom that reflects authentic Montessori principles Comfortably support diapering and toilet learning as part of each childs natural development Observe and guide individual growth with patience, understanding, and kindness Build strong partnerships with families through clear and respectful communication Collaborate with assistants and fellow educators to create a cohesive and supportive school community Foster independence, respect, and a joyful love of learning in the children you guide

Qualifications 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required Experience working with children ages 2 to 6, with familiarity with the 2 to 3 age group especially valued Experience leading a classroom and mentoring assistants preferred Montessori training or enthusiasm to deepen understanding of the Montessori method Comfortable supporting diapering and toilet learning Warm, collaborative, and organized teaching style Commitment to respect, inclusivity, and consistency in practice
