Position Summary: Responsible for planning, implementing and managing of all sales promotion activities in assigned territory / region. This position involves working closely with regional marketing team on promotional strategy development and execution. In addition, this role also requires developing and maintaining relationships with distributors and customers. The incumbent will be responsible for the effective implementation of new product launches, product training programs, channel partner programs and other initiatives designed to drive revenue growth. You should have strong knowledge of products, market place and competition.
Key Responsibilities: Implementing strategies as defined by the marketing organization to promote Diagnostic Systems Molecular products in their respective territory/region.
Achieving annual sales budget and profit targets set for the territory/region.
Identifying tender/rate contract opportunities and supporting the bid process with pricing and technical information.
Organizing, conducting and participating in conferences, seminars and workshops to communicate the benefits of Siemens Diagnostic Systems products to potential customers.
Managing distribution channels including identifying, selecting and developing appropriate distribution partners.
Developing and maintaining positive relations with distributors, government authorities, professional associations and customers.
Coordinating with the service department on customer requirements and ensuring that they are met.
Ensuring timely submission of reports and claims.
Assisting in the identification of new business opportunities and product ideas through interactions with customers and distributors.
Supporting exhibitions, trade shows and other promotional events as required.
Managing administrative tasks such as processing orders, returns, warranty claims and customer complaints.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or experience preferred.
Minimum three years of relevant experience in sales and marketing preferably in medical diagnostics industry.
Knowledge of marketing practices and procedures.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Good computer skills (MS Office).
Ability to travel extensively within the territory/region (>75%).
Self-motivated and result oriented individual who can work independently.
Highly organized individual capable of multi-tasking.
