As a Mental Health Nursing Professional, you will work under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director to deliver exceptional nursing care on the assigned unit or department. This role involves planning, providing, and evaluating comprehensive nursing care that aligns with our established patient care philosophy. You will be instrumental in facilitating individualized and goal-oriented nursing care, utilizing the nursing process and principles of primary nursing, all while adhering to departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Additionally, effective communication with other shifts is crucial for continuity of care, and you will be expected to maintain positive relations with other departments and nursing units. Participation in all educational phases is also a key aspect of this role. Qualifications Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (Required) Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred) Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire (preferred) ACLS (preferred) Licenses: Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multi-state/compact RN license Experience: 1.5 years of bedside psychiatric experience
