Community Health Care Canal Fulton is looking for a Medical Receptionist with a passion for helping others to be the first and last point of contact for our patients. Responsibilities:
Greeting all patients and visitors Perform patient check in and check out Verify patient's contact and personal information at all visits Verify the patient's insurance and collect any associated co-pays at the time of service Answer incoming calls and directs the caller accordingly Maintain patient privacy by following HIPAA guidelines and safety rules Conduct patient appointment reminders Requirements: Excellent customer service skills Possess a strong knowledge of medical office procedures Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Energetic, with a desire to surpass expectations Positive teamwork approach Benefits: Medical insurance 401(k) and Roth 401(k) 401(k) employer match Dental insurance Term Life Insurance Vision insurance Wellness benefits Paid time off Personal days Short term disability Long Term disability Paid holidays Employee assistance program
