Summary:

LHH is currently seeking a Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal role. Our client located in Altamonte Springs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented candidate with experience in medical malpractice defense. This is an in-office position supporting two experienced attorneys. If you have 3-5 years of medical malpractice experience or insurance defense litigation experience apply! Key Responsibilities: Draft and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and deposition summaries

Coordinate case files, medical records, and expert witness documentation

Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination

Conduct legal research and summarize findings using Westlaw or LexisNexis

Manage deadlines, court filings, and calendaring for litigation matters

Communicate professionally with clients, experts, and court personnel

Support attorneys during depositions, hearings, and trials

Qualifications: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in medical malpractice or insurance defense litigation

Strong understanding of Florida civil procedure and court systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software

Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills

Paralegal certificate preferred; bachelor's degree a plus

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
