We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our correctional healthcare team in Whatcom County, Washington State. As a key member of our staff, you will provide clinical oversight and medical leadership for healthcare services within the correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical oversight and medical leadership for healthcare services within the correctional setting.
Ensure compliance with NCCHC, WASPC, and applicable local, state, and federal healthcare standards.
Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare staff, including nurses, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
Develop, implement, and regularly review evidence-based medical policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts in patient care delivery.
Requirements: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington State.
Valid DEA registration and NPI number.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in correctional, public health, or underserved settings.
Demonstrated experience in medical administration or clinical leadership.
Familiarity with NCCHC and WASPC accreditation standards.
