The
Media Planning Supervisor
will be responsible for delivering key client objectives and will work as part of a larger client team. The role is responsible for media planning activities and managing all aspects of campaigns for the agency’s clients. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong working knowledge in Media Planning and be an expert in Multicultural marketing. Candidates must enjoy working in a fast- paced environment and be able to navigate an ever-changing media climate.
What you will do
Reporting to the Media Director, you will play a key role as the day-to-day liaison between partner agencies, vendor partners and media community.
Provide strategic media planning recommendations and develop local plans that are aligned with the clients’ Multicultural objectives and rooted in consumer insights.
Assist in media plan presentations and reporting as well as other client facing deliverables
Provide market overviews and insights.
Develop and present media POVs to internal and extended agency teams and clients.
Maintain status reports to ensure efficient workflow and communication in order to meet internal and client deadlines.
Assist Media Director with developing media strategies and writing media plans.
Work collaboratively with other agency departments and partner agencies to develop full integrated marketing plans.
Monitor and analyze media campaigns
Oversee buy, reconcile invoices, and negotiate vendor proposals
Manage junior planners' day-to-day workflow, as well as train in industry standard best planning practices.
Your experience
Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years of experience in media planning and strategy
Segment experience targeting multicultural consumers with expertise in the Hispanic consumer mindset is required
Ability to work collaboratively with teams and independently, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Strong relationship building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experienced using Media Research (Simmons/MRI, Kantar, ComScore) and Execution Tools (DCM, DDS)
