Position Title: Nurse Manager – Labor and Delivery A leading healthcare client is seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) to oversee Labor and Delivery operations at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. This leadership role ensures patient care excellence, drives continuous improvement, and fosters clinical competency across the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the assessment and quality of nursing care in the designated unit Advise hospital leadership on patient care outcomes, budget planning, and quality initiatives Forecast departmental needs to enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff, focusing on professional development and competence Coordinate and unify staff efforts to uphold the hospital's mission and values
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of recent (within the past year) leadership experience in acute care Labor and Delivery Current Texas RN license BCLS certification and completion of Medication Learning Module NRP certification required within six months of hire AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within six months of hire Additional training or experience in ACLS, TX Room, PACU, ICU, High Risk OB, Labor & Delivery, or Operating Room Bachelor's Degree required
