About the Role: As Cannondale's Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, you’ll lead a dynamic team across Manufacturing Engineering, Fit & Function, Single Cells, and Maintenance & Repair, driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Reporting into the Almelo factory's Plant Manager, you'll play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes, introducing new technologies and equipment, and solving complex challenges that require both a strategic mindset and hands-on engineering expertise. With a helicopter view of operations and a deep understanding of our business, you’ll be the key connector between engineering, production, and leadership, ensuring our manufacturing systems are efficient, scalable, and built for the future. How You'll Make an Impact: Provides input to the strategic plan and based on this, develops an annual plan and is responsible for its execution and securing Responsible for the feasibility of all innovations and changes from both a technical and production perspective Responsible for advising on and implementing improvements and optimizations in cost, reliability, quality, safety, and energy consumption within the department Proactively builds and maintains contact with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of products Determines and helps implement company policies within the Operations department. Analyzes feedback from production, service, and complaints, and translates these into production improvements Follows developments and trends in the relevant area and translates this into solutions , services, and alternatives Leads, selects, develops, guides, and evaluates employees within the departments, ensuring optimal personnel planning and skilled personnel Solves complex problems that require a high-level perspective, deep expertise , and strong contextual understanding of the business What You Bring to the Table: HBO ( Bachelor) 3 -5 years of experience Develops, improves, innovates, and implements processes, best practice methods, and/or systems Operates independently, in line with objectives , processes, procedures, policies, and budgets.
