At Walmart, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. In this role, you'll lead a team of dedicated technicians, ensuring our buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers.

Role Details:

Travel approximately 50% or more within the region.

Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.

Handle reporting and analytics.

Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses.

Participate in training programs to stay current with regulatory requirements, including site inspections for compliance and quality standards.

Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections per mechanical or building codes.

Hard Skills Needed:

3-5 years experience in general facilities services or building maintenance.

Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical experience.

Leadership skills to motivate and develop team members.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem solving, root cause analysis, and breakdown analysis experience.

Customer service orientation.

Soft Skills and Certifications:

EPA Universal Certification.

PMP Certification.

Lean Six Sigma.

Current C-10 Electrical Contractor License in good standing.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field plus 3 years’ experience in facilities or construction management, or 5 years’ relevant experience. Current CA C-10 Electrical Contractor License in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in commercial electrical work, supervising teams, and cross-functional projects. State and jurisdiction-specific licensing may be required.

Locations and Salary: Sacramento, CA: $99,000 - $198,000 annually.

Other locations include Bakersfield, Glendora, Burbank, San Diego, with salaries up to $216,000. Additional bonuses and benefits apply.
