As the Manager of Convention & Banquet Set-Up, you'll lead a team dedicated to transforming spaces for everything from high-profile meetings to elegant celebrations. The day-to-day:
Bring events to life by ensuring accurate and timely setups based on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Collaborate closely with Event Managers, Meeting Planners, banquet captains, and AV teams to deliver flawless experiences.
Oversee the daily operations of the banquet setup team, ensuring proper staffing, scheduling, and adherence to union guidelines. Champion training, coach for success, and support performance management.
Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify and resolve issues, maintain organized event spaces, and ensure all equipment is in top condition and inventory is well-managed.
Balance staffing and labor costs with budget goals, handle payroll and scheduling issues promptly, and act as the go-to problem solver during eventsalways focused on elevating the guest experience.
The ideal candidate:
2+ years of experience in Banquets, Catering & Convention Management

Pay range: $62,200.00 - $103,600.00. This range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location. This is a commission-eligible position. Eligible employees have the opportunity to participate in medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans as well as 401(k) and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
