Ellis Real Estate, a leading property management company, is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Technician. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing semi-skilled to skilled maintenance tasks on buildings, facilities, and light equipment. This includes general carpentry, electrical work, plumbing repairs, and other maintenance duties as required by service requests and inspections.

Responsibilities:

Track and complete service requests for occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities.

Perform timely repairs encompassing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, and other maintenance tasks.

Prepare apartments for tours and new move-ins, including conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash outs, punch-outs, and scheduling vendors when necessary.

Assist with property inspections such as semi-annual, fire safety, and pest control.

Aid in controlling and reporting stock and inventory.

Safely use and perform periodic maintenance on tools and equipment, including hammers, drills, saws, gauges, etc.

Undertake additional projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Driver's License

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in maintenance or a related field

Proficiency in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing repairs, and general maintenance tasks

Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
