Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of production machinery, tools, facilities, and vehicles with minimal supervision. This position ensures employees operate in a safe and efficient environment, consistently fulfilling customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks in alignment with the current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct.
• Utilize hand tools, including those powered by electricity and pneumatics.
• Diagnose issues with production machinery, powered industrial trucks, hoists, tools, and company vehicles to identify maintenance and service needs.
• Repair and install intricate electrical and mechanical systems, such as hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools, and automated/numerically controlled equipment like programmable logic controllers.
• Interpret complex schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals to determine necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Fabricate intricate production and facility systems using welding, milling, plumbing, and pipefitting techniques.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities as required.
• Load, unload, lift, and move parts and equipment in preparation for inspection, maintenance, or service using powered industrial trucks and overhead lifting equipment as needed.
• Complete and maintain all related electronic processes and paperwork, including checklists, stamping, blueprints, barcoding, and shipping/receiving materials.
• Uphold departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

Work Environment

The work environment involves a 1st shift with a start time between 5:00-7:00am, focusing on maintaining safety and efficiency while upholding departmental standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Dimas, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
