Job Description: Maintenance Mechanic Your Responsibilities: Utilize your knowledge of machines and tools for their design, use, repair, and maintenance. Employ hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical testing devices. Perform routine preventive maintenance or repairs to keep machines operating smoothly, ensure efficient building systems, and maintain physical structures. Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions. Diagnose mechanical issues and determine corrective actions, referencing blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, components, systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. Conduct inspections of drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and follow maintenance checklists. Document the type and cost of maintenance or repair work performed.
