Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including heavy-duty diesel trucks and engines. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. This position may require on-call duties to assist with urgent breakdowns. Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections and diagnostics on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Perform welding and fabrication as needed. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to company safety protocols. Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and coordinate necessary repairs. Contribute to emergency breakdown assistance as part of the on-call team. Qualifications: At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic. Familiarity with troubleshooting and repairing diesel particulate filter (DPF) systems and using diagnostic tools for various engine types. Understanding of applicable DOT and OSHA standards. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally. Must have a valid driver's license; CDL is preferred.
