Provides nursing care to inmates within a correctional facility setting by administering medications, evaluating patient conditions, and implementing nursing plans under state regulations. Works night shifts in a secure environment, performing emergency interventions and critical assessments. • Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
• Follow through with established treatment plans
