Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 08/17/2025 Duration: 52 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, nights, flexible Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Job Type: Full-Time Location: Pinole, CA Pay Range: $30-$35 Physical Therapist Assistant - Full-Time - Castro Valley, CA – Need to fill ASAP Job Summary: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in the implementation of treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. This role requires adherence to state regulations and professional standards while contributing to patient recovery, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting team operations through effective communication and collaboration. Description: Assist in delivering physical therapy treatment as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist Comply with state Practice Act and regulatory training requirements (Medicare, OSHA, etc.) Prepare treatment areas and maintain a safe, clean environment Document patient progress and activities using appropriate medical terminology Communicate clearly with therapists, patients, and team members Attend required meetings and participate in clinical in-services Maintain current CPR certification and meet licensure-related continuing education Stay informed about changes in the healthcare field and physical therapy practices Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Skills & Requirements: Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills Time management, organization, and planning proficiency Ability to read and comprehend clinical documentation and instructions Effective in verbal and written communication within a clinical setting Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs independently using correct biomechanical techniques Continuous physical activity including walking, standing, bending, and reaching Adequate vision and hearing for clinical documentation and patient care Capable of pushing equipment and handling treatment-related supplies Fine motor skills for scheduling, documentation, and therapeutic tasks Credentials: Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, or equivalent international program Active state license, registration, or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant Current CPR certification in compliance with state licensure requirements About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
