As part of our Critical Access Hospital, you'll play a key role in delivering urgent care to a diverse patient population, often under pressure. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial patient assessments and prioritize care based on severity Provide prompt, high-quality care in emergency situations, including trauma response Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and other care team members Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders Initiate and assist with emergency resuscitative measures Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation Ensure a clean, stocked, and safe work environment Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines Required Qualifications Current California RN license in good standing Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required within 1 year of hire TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required within 1 year of hire Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
