LITIGATION PARALEGAL POSITION: In-Office & Fulltime JOB DESCRIPTION- Paralegal for litigation practice group. This Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting attorneys by providing tasks including document creation, departmental file organization and file maintenance.   This individual must have a strong understanding of case management, legal research, document preparation, legal discovery, trial preparation eFiling, drafting, and litigation technology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Draft and organize various legal documents including, but not limited to motions, pleadings, interrogatories, correspondence, drafting, eFiling, and other documents related to the discovery process during litigation Manage trial calendars for the legal team, ensuring all deadlines are met Creation of discovery indices Scheduling of expert witnesses Communications with all parties to litigation Provide trial support, including fact-checking, evidence preparation, presentations and technology support Maintain organized case files and databases
Requirements:
Paralegal degree or paralegal certificate preferred Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience preferred Strong knowledge of legal drafting and law office procedures Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of cases and efficiently meet deadlines Proficiency in legal research and case management software. Pro-Law preferred. Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels.
