Litigation Attorney

Our client, a well-established law firm in Indiana, is seeking an experienced and motivated Litigation Attorney to join their growing defense team. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney with a strong desire to expand their practice, contribute to the firm’s growth, and manage a variety of legal matters across both state and federal courts in Indiana.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in active litigation matters before Indiana state and federal courts
Manage all phases of litigation, from pre-trial to post-trial motions and hearings
Develop case strategies, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
Engage in effective legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients
Cultivate relationships with existing clients while actively growing a client base
Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and firm initiatives
Continuously pursue professional development and stay current on relevant legal trends and changes in the law
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience representing clients in legal matters, with a focus on litigation
Proven experience handling active litigation in Indiana state and/or federal courts
In-depth knowledge of Indiana Trial Rules and court procedures
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively work with clients, staff, and external parties
J.D. from an ABA-approved law school
Member in good standing and active in the Indiana Bar
