We are also open to part-time hours and offer a flexible schedule. **This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!** Key Responsibilities: Administer and accurately document vaccines. Record verbal conversations with patients when necessary. Ensure patient records are documented accurately and promptly. Facilitate timely patient flow throughout the office. Prepare patients for visits based on specific office and provider requirements. Obtain specimens, such as urine and blood, as directed by the provider. Enter lab orders accurately and in a timely manner. Perform clinical office procedures as instructed by the provider (e.g., PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration, and immunizations). Process patient prescriptions efficiently. Discuss test results with patients according to the provider's guidelines. Requirements: Valid NYS LPN license. Prior LPN experience in a medical practice or equivalent background as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech. Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems. Understanding of basic nursing principles and protocols. Knowledge of policies and procedures regarding infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion. Familiarity with medical chart reporting and records. Proficient in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
