We are currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist in our Boone location. This independent clinic specializes in the treatment of children as well as adults with co-occurring, substance use and gambling concerns. Our office provides a comprehensive treatment team including, Substance Use Counselors and Psychiatry staff that work together to provide excellent client care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conducts clinical assessments and provides diagnosis, treatment and referrals when indicated Carries a treatment caseload; provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups as appropriate; starts and ends sessions on time; and maintains consumer confidentiality Accurately and punctually completes needed clinical documentation and insurance authorization requests Maintains appropriate client and pre-client case records Provides clients and families with referral resources for the services not provided by this agency or when this agency’s services are not appropriate Schedule: Type: Full-time Hours: 40 hours each week, Monday-Friday during regular business hours with 1 later evening until 7 p.m. Education and Experience Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited university in the social or behavioral sciences is required. Current Iowa Licensure Psychologist, LISW, LMHC, or LMFT is required. Temporary licensed individuals are welcome to apply. Be nefits:
