US Trades is currently seeking a Delaware Licensed Electrician to join our team for a conveyor system installation at a high-volume postal carrier facility. This role requires experience in rigid conduit installation, motor controls, power distribution, and all aspects of electrical work related to complex material handling systems. The ideal candidate is licensed in the state of Delaware and has experience working in fast-paced industrial environments.
- Install and bend rigid conduit (EMT, GRC) to precise measurements and specifications
- Pull and terminate wiring for motor controls, sensors, and power panels
- Install and troubleshoot power distribution systems to support conveyor equipment
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation plans
- Work closely with project managers, mechanical crews, and other electricians to coordinate layout and sequencing
- Perform all work in accordance with the NEC (National Electrical Code) and site-specific safety standards
- Conduct testing and assist with system startup and commissioning activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed tasks and materials used
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Active Delaware Journeyman or Master Electrician License – required
- 5+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
- Strong experience in rigid conduit bending, motor controls, and power distribution
- Ability to read electrical schematics and layout drawings
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Experience working on conveyor or material handling systems is a strong plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, or in elevated areas
- Must be reliable, safety-minded, and a strong communicator
