*White Plains & Bronx/Riverdale Divorce/Family Law firm seeks Intake Specialist/Legal Secretary/Receptionist for immediate *_*full-time*_ *position. Days/hours are 4-5 weekdays for 7-8 hour shifts (usually 10:30/11:30a.m.-6:30p.m.) and *_*most*_ *Saturdays 2pm-7pm. * *Candidate will work 2-3 days per week in the White Plains office & 2-3 days per week in the Bronx/Riverdale office.*

*Responsibilities and Duties*
* The job consists mostly of secretarial/administrative duties, with _some_ traditional legal assistant duties as well. That said, we anticipate expansion in 2025 - as such there is room for growth in the position. * Handles phone intakes with potential clients; makes follow-up calls/e-mails to same; handles phone calls to/from clients, opposing counsel and courts. * Welcomes clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries. * Produces information by inputting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting data. * Conserves attorneys time by reviewing and routing correspondence, reports and legal documents; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; organizing client conferences and attorney meetings; scheduling process service, court reporters, expert witnesses, and other special functions. * Maintains attorney calendar by recording and monitoring court appearance dates; monitoring evidence-gathering & discovery; anticipating changes in litigation or transaction requirements. * Generates revenues by documenting and inputting attorney billable time and reimbursable expenses; preparing invoices; tracking payments. * Handles marketing efforts, such as blog posting & potential client follow-up.
*Qualifications and Skills*
* *Relevant work experience (in the legal field) and/or relevant education (e.g., legal studies, legal assistant/secretary certificate, etc.) *_*REQUIRED*_*.* * Documentation Skills, Meeting Planning, Telephone Skills, Office Experience - General, PC Proficiency, Verbal Communication, Internal Communications, Dependability, Professionalism, Client Relationships. * Growth potential as firm expands in the coming year or two. * *Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.*
