Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our team. The Case Manager will play a key role in supporting attorneys by managing client files, ensuring the timely progression of cases, and maintaining communication with clients and external parties.
*Responsibilities*
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about case developments.
* Manage case files, including organizing documents, evidence, and correspondence.
* Conduct initial client intake interviews and gather essential case information.
* Coordinate with attorneys to develop case strategies and timelines.
* Schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
* Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely filings of documents.
* Liaise with courts, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
* Draft and review legal correspondence and simple legal documents as needed.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in case management software.
* Provide administrative support as required.
*Qualifications*
* *Education:* Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred.
* *Experience:* Minimum of 2 years in a legal or case management role. Experience in personal injury is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in legal case management software.
* Knowledge of court filing procedures and legal terminology.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
