We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer to support the FDIC AIMS Modernization effort, providing technical leadership and hands-on development expertise in modernizing critical IT systems. Job Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and modernization of IT solutions comparable in size, scale, and technology to FDIC’s AIMS Modernization . Architect and manage the end-to-end solution , ensuring seamless integration of all components. Provide hands-on development expertise in FDIC-approved technologies , including Angular, Java, Microservices, PostgreSQL, TomEE , and other relevant frameworks. Drive Agile development efforts, ensuring the successful delivery of solutions through full software lifecycle methodologies . Develop and deploy modern solutions in Microsoft Azure , leveraging cloud-native tools and best practices. Ensure optimal database design and management , utilizing expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and related tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, DevOps engineers, and project managers, to align development efforts with FDIC objectives. Guide and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols . Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in software development and IT modernization for large-scale government projects. Proven experience designing and managing end-to-end solution architectures , ensuring seamless system integration . Strong hands-on development experience with FDIC-approved technologies , including: Angular (frontend development) Java and Microservices (backend development) Expertise in Agile software development , with 3+ successful Agile-driven software deliveries . Recent experience developing and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure . Strong knowledge of database design, tools, and utilities , with experience in optimizing performance, scalability, and security . Must be a US Citizen Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting FDIC or other financial regulatory agencies . Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments . Certification in Microsoft Azure, Java development, or Agile methodologies (e.g., AWS/Azure Certified Developer, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications). Why Join Harmonia?
