REQUIREMENT:
Lead Public Sector Business Analyst Legacy System Migration, SDLC Delivery & Multi-Agency Process Optimization Specialist
Columbia, South Carolina (Hybrid)---Locals Only
Need Overall 10+Years of experience
3 References from the recent projects are must.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
Experience in computer system development and modification
Relevant experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
5+ years working on government IT projects
5+ years eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business rules, processes, and requirements
1+ year experience with the SDLC
1+ year of hands-on experience with SQL databases
Proficient in business modeling and graphical process flow techniques
Preferred:
International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
Certification such as PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis).
Experience using JIRA and Microsoft Office tools
Specific Skills:
Business analysis in public sector IT environments
Strong skills in requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation
Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Ability to work with SQL databases for data validation and analysis
Familiarity with tools like JIRA, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience in test planning, execution, and system validation
Skills in process modeling, workflow mapping, and reengineering
Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
Collaboration with cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Strong verbal and written communication for reports, roadmaps, and user documentation
