JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead Project Engineer - Mechanical Design role is a senior level position responsible for architecting and leading the mechanical design of custom industrial automation systems. The successful candidate will review solution concepts developed by the sales and applications teams and transform them into a detailed project plan with discrete tasks and estimated hours. They will assign work to the appropriate mechanical engineering resources, mentor and provide technical guidance, and directly contribute to the design by creating mechanical drawings and documentation using Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks. This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering and is 100 % on site in either Rochester, NY or Painted Post, NY.

Solutions Architect

Collaborate with cross disciplinary teams (sales, applications, mechanical, controls, electrical, purchasing and project management) to develop integrated automation solutions that meet customer requirements.

MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS:


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the wage range for this role is $120,000 - 140,000. The rate range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Adaptec Solutions considers factors including, but not limited to experience and geographic location.
