Position Summary: Join our Optimize team as a Lead Mainframe CICS Systems Programmer, where your expertise will directly contribute to the ongoing support and enhancement of mainframe CICS systems. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance across complex environments. Key Responsibilities: Implement CICS TS installations and upgrades, providing support for related OEM software products. Lead and mentor teams, establishing yourself as a subject matter expert. Provide technical support for various CICS TS software configurations. Engage in client meetings, demonstrating strong communication skills. Collaborate with software vendors to explore new solutions and address product defects. Document and analyze problems, designing best practice procedures for issue prevention. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on CICS TS experience on z/OS. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in complex ISV installations and upgrades. Strong client management and customer service skills. Exceptional attention to detail and teamwork abilities. Experience in a large-scale, 24/7 production environment. Preferred Skills: Problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on effective resolution. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proven experience in mentoring and leadership. Knowledge of documentation processes and procedures. Willingness to take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic SharePoint knowledge. Experience with installing, configuring, and upgrading MQ and/or WAS on z/OS. Why Ensono?
