About This Role: The fast-paced world of media consumption, programmatic advertising, and consumer privacy is evolving rapidly. Comscore's dynamic Activation business, Proximic, is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to contribute to new product development by extracting and analyzing valuable insights from extensive and diverse data sources. Your expertise will play a crucial role in classifying, predicting, and explaining consumer interests that are essential for effective advertising. What You'll Do: Generate innovative solutions through exploratory data analysis from complex, high-dimensional datasets. Develop a variety of models, from simple regression analyses to advanced neural networks, utilizing LLM embeddings. Lead projects from initial prototype stage to full-scale production in collaboration with data engineering teams. Create comprehensive reports complete with visualizations for Product and Marketing teams. Act as a senior member on cross-departmental teams exploring new technologies effectively. Contribute to the development and filing of patent disclosures. What You'll Need: 4-6+ years of experience with a strong focus on statistical methodologies. Ability to work independently while being accountable for delivering high-quality results. Proficiency in conducting complex work critical to the organization, contributing to tangible team and organizational goals. Experience with programming in R, Python, Scala, or SQL, along with expertise in Big Data Analytics using Spark or Snowflake. Proven track record in developing Machine Learning algorithms, specifically in Clustering and Classification, as well as proficiency in AI model embeddings. Familiarity with programmatic advertising, free ad-supported TV, and concepts related to differential privacy or secure multi-party computation. Understanding of web technologies: browsers, cookies, JavaScript, HTTP, JSON, and Web2.0 APIs. Ability to clearly communicate analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Compensation: $120K - $140K; salary commensurate with experience.
