Duties, Responsibilities & Other The Design Intern will support various Communication Design projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real-world projects and daily work tasks. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Attend bi-weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams. Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner. Compare field data to base plans to ensure accuracy and consistency. Design and draft construction drawings using standard engineering principles for approval by federal, state, and local agencies. Collect necessary data, including measurements, sketches, notes, and photographs, to support project needs. Learn to read and interpret technical documents, design manuals, and local jurisdiction details to effectively perform job duties. Learn to use applicable design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc. Size and specify design requirements, ensuring all design aspects meet project and regulatory standards. Complete other duties as required or assigned. * Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications Education and/or skills required: This is an entry-level position where no previous experience is required. Education and/or work experience preferred: High School Diploma/GED Certificates, licenses, and/or registrations required: Valid Driver's License Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
